We do a little bit of everything; primarily truckload, some LTL and some Brokerage. I finally found the application which does it all, CSIRoad. Now my dispatchers can decide whether we want the load or broker it out. 
 
Because of the web features I can put it on the net or email the carriers I want to get bids from. Fee negotiations can be done on the fly, rate addendums signed and load assigned. All of this with no reentry of data. Oh yeah, a voucher with agreed to amount is automatically sent to AP where it sits until paperwork comes in from the carrier.
 
My customers send me loads via the internet and the application moves them right to the dispatch screen. It saves everyone a lot of time. In addition, customer can track status of load and even obtain all the delivery documents for their review all via the net. My dispatchers now have more time to focus on problems and really focus on the orders/loads that are not on schedule.

The staff at CSI allowed us to plug in a simple module to integrate with the QuickBooks application. So, no rocking the "accountants" boat and I have the business operation software that gets the job done.

Ticket processing and billing in compliance with job requirements were our major problems. The CSI staff demonstrated a software application that addressed these requirements and I decided to establish a business relationship with them.  
 
The relationship has been a good investment. My dispatchers easily plan daily schedules for drivers, dispatchers have redirect capability, and the application builds the ticket record for billing purposes.  
 
At the end of the day, my "billers" know what to expect from each driver; and only need to enter the tonnage value for each ticket. The CSIRoad application generates the invoice or summary invoice for respective customer based on the job contract.  
 
I have my own maintenance shop and the CSIRoad system really streamlined the record keeping; charging of my owner operators and pulling amount out of their settlement at once or spread over a period of time. The ability to establish job standards increased my mechanic productivity. The preventive maintenance features give warnings to dispatchers, drivers and shop manager and everyone is on the "same page" as to what is happening to my dump trucks.  
 
All this "stuff" is automatically put into CSI’s financial apps. My outside accountant likes them. I like the AR features and Business reports. They give me a good handle on what is happening with my business.

We wanted a system that would handle our trucking and brokerage operation as well as integrate with our customers to seamlessly transfer vehicles to be moved.
 
We chose CSIRoad and are pleased with the decision.
 
The dispatch function, including order entry, has all of the information to effectively track and administer vehicles. The assignment of vehicles to an order is easy and fast. We also have the specific location of a VIN in the lot making it a lot easier for driver to pick it up. Even the pickup by a driver at an auction location is streamlined.
 
The OS&D application includes photos and the thoroughness of information through claim processing has been a real benefit. The billing effectively handles all of the different accessorial charges we encounter and it permits my billing staff more time to audit as compared to gathering information.
 
Driver Settlement is flexible and gives our drivers the information they need in

Comprehensive format and in a prompt manner.
 
All of our financial reporting is done by CSIRoad and we find it to be streamlined and comprehensive. It has been a great investment on our behalf.
