"There are many products available which claim to meet my needs. We were looking for one software vendor to provide a product to run our dispatching company, carrier operation, billing, and accounting.

I did not want to hire staff to re-key information from one system to another.  I want to call one vendor for support.  CSI provided those resources.

As the business changes and new technology is introduced I can rely on CSI to address those changes and keep up with technology.  We receive orders from customer’s web sites and via CSIroad I can send order statuses directly back to my customer’s web site.  We send information to some customers using EDI, to others I email the freight bills.  CSI allows me to do all of this.

My dispatchers use CSI to manage over 300 trucks, hundreds of trailers, company drivers and carriers.  Everyone can see the status of the loads including the current location and estimated delivery times for each order.  This allows us to anticipate changes in driver routes and notify customers if there is a change.

After a load is delivered it is immediately available for billing. I am able to send bills via email along with scanned images like the BOL.  The driver settlement is processed with detailed information of each load.    This reduces the number of questions we receive weekly from the drivers and owner operators regarding their pay.

Preventative maintenance and tire tracking was never addressed properly until CSIRoad was installed.  The shop crew is notified when a truck or trailer is due for maintenance they work with the dispatcher to ensure the equipment is back at the terminal on time for the repair work.  Tire tracking is also done efficiently for every piece of equipment. 

Together the dispatching, billing, settlement and shop maintenance provide detailed statistics for each driver, piece of equipment, customer and load hauled.  I know if we are running efficiently and have the tools to adjust if we are not thanks to CSIRoad."
